The National Institutes of Health is the world’s leading supporter of fundamental discovery that extends healthy lives and reduces the burden of illness. Thanks to the Congressional investment, NIH-supported research has met some of our nation’s biggest health challenges.

Please join Dr. Yamamoto for a timely look at an overview of the NIH peer review process and the types of grants funded by the agency. In addition, he will discuss how NIH sets research priorities and solicits input from the scientific community and the public.
