Watch Dr. Olson as he briefs the Congressional Biomedical Research Caucus on important advances in our understanding of the causes of congenital heart disease that are being made through the discovery of the developmental control genes that orchestrate heart formation. Dr. Olson will provide an overview of the current understanding of the genetic basis of heart disease in children and adults, the biology of heart regeneration, and new approaches in regenerative medicine are discussed.
